Eric Andersen

Eric’s songs have been recorded and performed by world renown artists such as Judy Collins, Sandy Denny, Fairport Convention, The Kingston Trio, Linda Ronstadt, Mary Chapin Carpenter and many others. Andersen was part of the Greenwich Village folk scene in the 1960’s and zoomed to popularity with hits like Thirsty Boots and Violets of Dawn. Eric played the legendary Festival Express, a trans-Canadian train tour that featured Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy, Ian and Sylvia, Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead, and he performed as part of Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Review. Later, he co-wrote music with Towns Van Zandt and began touring more in Europe, eventually moving to Norway. Andersen has continued to perform all over the world and more recently, wrote original material for the celebration of Albert Camus’s 100th anniversary. We are honored to bring Eric Andersen and Steve Addabbo to the Me&Thee Stage on their first US stop of their International Tour.
